My husband and I worked with Stephen to purchase our first home. We actually first met in October 2022 at an open house, a few months before we planned to begin the home buying process, we kept in touch and when it was time to start looking more seriously, we knew we wanted to work with Stephen. Stephen is super knowledgable about the process and answered all of our questions throughout, if he didn't know the answer to something, he helped us figure it out. As people new to the home buying process, we felt 100% comfortable working with him. We moved from out of state and he was extremely understanding and accommodating of our travel schedules when visiting homes. He listened to what we were interested in home-wise and what type of neighborhoods we were interested in living in and made really great suggestions of homes for us to visit when we went out to visit places. He was incredibly attuned to what our needs and wants were, and didn't try to push or sway us in any specific direction. When it came time to make an offer, he was super communicative and walked us through each step of the process.
Before we found "the one" we had an offer accepted for another home, which ended up falling through due to something discovered during the inspection. My husband and I were pretty disappointed and unsure of what decision to make. Stephen handled this set-back with compassion, thoroughness, and persistence - making sure we got answers quickly while we were making a stressful decision.
A couple weeks later we did end up finding the perfect home for us, and once again, Stephen helped the process go smoothly from start to finish until closing on May 8th. He's even been kind enough to check in with us after moving in to see how things are going.
While we love our home and are happy here, if we were to go through this process again, we wouldn't hesitate to work with Stephen again in the future.
